Cogent Applicant Processing Systems
Applicant fingerprinting services provided by Cogent are available in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee. Cogent worked in conjunction with the states respective police agencies, various user agencies and numerous local businesses to put the programs in place that allow these agencies access to statewide fingerprint services and the background check results generated by our services through applicant services and software solutions.

In certain states, an agency or business can print its own employees. For this option the Cogent LiveScan can be purchased and the operator will have access to the same online registration, billing and payment options, reports, accounting and account management tools as other print locations and sites.

In addition, those who purchase a Cogent LiveScan will receive, on a monthly basis, a payment for every applicant processed through their LiveScan. Buyers may make their LiveScan available for public use to maximize the benefit from this payment or they can choose to keep their LiveScan private. Your state may require an application for approval in order for you to provide this service.
