Mobile Ident III - Multi-purpose Mobile ID Device
Mobile Ident III is Cogent’s latest multi-biometric handheld fingerprint identification device for military, law enforcement, and civil government applications such as remote subject identification, disaster scene management, ID document authentication, traffic citation, and much more.

Mobile Ident III is FBI Mobile ID SAP (Subject Acquisition Profile) Level 30 certified according to NIST Mobile ID Device Best Practices Recommendation. With an array of user-friendly features, the device can quickly and easily capture forensic quality fingerprints and high resolution portraits for in-thefield identifications or enrollment. By using its flexible modular attachments, it can support multiple forms of card interfaces: Mag-stripe, contact, and contactless. As an option, Mobile Ident III can be equipped with a USB barcode scanner, an MRZ passport reader, and a 3-inch thermal printer module.

Mobile Ident III can store up to 300,000 fingerprint templates and has an on-device fingerprint matching capability. The on-board MobileID software packages the fingerprints and photos into a NIST file and submits the NIST file to a back-end matching system over a LAN or WAN network. The software provides users with an assortment of tools for viewing, identifying, and saving records, allowing a one-to-one comparison of existing biometric records to verify identity.
